The second round of becoming a baker involves homework.

Meeting people with grand ideas, there seems to be no such thing as free time. I am told to bring my ukulele.

Getting involved in the community, I find myself gaining new experiences and viewpoints.

My second butcher internship overwhelms me with sausage theory.

September brings many new experiences and a shift in direction from the past six months. While still focusing on the fermented products, I am joining various arts communities to make this place feel like home.

I define myself by the experiences I have had, the people I have met, the friends I have made, and the hardships I have faced; I am a better person for every instant of adversity in my path – I welcome it.

It has been six months that I have lived abroad. A recount of the culture shocks, self-discoveries, and accomplishments made so far.

Five months into this new chapter in life, and it feels like I am still stuck in the exposition.
