After being at my second bakery internship for about four months, they start to accept me as one of them – in fact, plans are underway to become officially recognized.
A bread baked by a local bakery every Friday has become my fast favorite. With the help of a recent purchase, I try to replicate this bread in my own kitchen.
A chance meeting gives me the opportunity to work at another bakery, with new bakers, and in a new location.
I recall enjoying working in insurance because I knew what to expect each day. However, I love my time in Germany because each day is full of new, unknown and unexpected adventures.
When one is a bit peckish and has a couple hours to spare, the go-to treat has got to be pita bread and hummus.
